Max Beard has performed in a variety of short film, theater, and television productions as well as commercials. Examples of his work include playing Patrick Malin in Showtime’s “The First Lady” (2022), the HBO drama series “The Outsider” as well as the lead role in the hit comedy “Out of Order” where he was described by the local press as "handsome and charming with fabulous comedic timing". Max is a versatile actor. For an acting exercise, 12 students directed him in 12 different shorts in one day in “12 Different Shades of Max”.

Born in Salisbury, Maryland, Max grew up in Florida and moved to New York City at the age of nineteen, where he decided to take up method acting. In 2005, Max moved to Los Angeles to study acting and film.

Max enjoys songwriting in his spare time and also does voice over work. He currently resides in Atlanta, Ga.
